Randy started working at Backes Auctioneers in 1993 after working as a purchasing agent with a large manufacturing company. He is a graduate of Iowa State University. He also obtained his Real Estate Salesperson license in 2003. Randy specializes in Farm Land, Industrial, Construction and Food Service equipment.
Rodney A. Backes

Rod started working at Backes Auctioneers in 1994 after working in the drafting and design department of a major corporation. Graduated from Hawkeye College in Waterloo, Iowa, and obtained his Real Estate Salesperson license in 2003. Rod specializes in Commercial Real Estate, Food Service, Business and Service Equipment.
Ryan Backes

As a natural extrovert with energy to spare, Ryan loves his career in real estate and truly cares about helping his clients succeed. He also has a deep appreciation for the Cedar Valley—and plans to live here for life.
He finds creative ways to volunteer and give back to the community by serving on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club, as an MC at the Knights of Columbus, and as an auctioneer at the House of Hope, Junior Achievement, and many other organizations. Since joining Backes Real Estate, Ryan has shared his passion for the Cedar Valley with his clients and has worked hard to ensure a smooth, positive experience.
